Western Vascular Diagnostics is a non-invasive vascular laboratory in the western suburbs of Melbourne. The laboratory is situated at the Western Hospital, Footscray. The laboratory is named in honour of the founding head of the vascular unit at the Western Hospital, Mr R Barry King.

The Non Invasive Vascular Laboratory provides comprehensive non-invasive testing for vascular disease for inpatients and outpatients. Non invasive vascular testing makes possible early detection and treatment of life threatening vascular diseases including arterial occlusive disease, stroke and deep vein thrombosis.

Non Invasive Vascular Laboratory Reports
We have a strict policy that all patients referred to the Non Invasive Vascular Laboratory  will have a prompt report generated and sent to the referring physician the day the test is performed. If a serious or potentially dangerous condition is discovered, a vascular technician or medical director will immediately contact the requesting physician.
